10月19日(木)に秋の入学式を行いました。これから1年半、一緒に頑張って行きましょう！

On Thursday, October 19, we held our fall entrance ceremony. Let’s have fun together from now on!

フィリピンから6名の新入生が入国して来ました。この後、ネパールからも新入生がやって来る予定です。全員がそろう日が待ち遠しいです！

Six new students from the Philippines came to Japan. In a little while, new students will be coming from Nepal. We can’t wait for the day when everyone will be together!

2022年9月9日(金)に、介護施設で文化交流会を行いました。留学生がフィリピンの文化（フィリピン人の気質、お祭り、人気のエンタメ、子供の遊び）について発表しました。そして、女子r学生が「Iitik-itik」というダンスを踊り、男子学生が「Kahit Maputi  na ang Buhok ko(ぼくの髪が白くなっても)」という、フィリピンではとても有名な歌を、ギターを弾きながら歌いました。学生たちはとてもよく練習し、よい発表ができました。施設のお年寄りの皆さんにも喜んでいただけて、とても有意義な活動となりました。

On Friday, September 9, 2022, we held a cultural exchange meeting at a nursing home. International students gave presentations about Filipino cultures: Filipino personality, festivals, popular entertainment, children’s play. Then, female students danced “Iitik-itik” and male students sang “Kahit Maputi na ang Buhok ko” (even if my hair turns white) song that is very famous in the Philippines, with playing guitar. The students practiced very well and gave good presentations. The elderly people at the facility were also pleased, and it was a very meaningful activity.

7月2日（土）に海開きイベントに参加しました。女子学生4人は浴衣を着ました！男子学生もアルバイトが終わった後で参加しました。ビンゴ大会で日本酒や商品券が当たって嬉しそうでした。

On Saturday July 2nd, we went and joined the sea opening event together.The four female students wore yukatas!The male students also joined the event after their part-time jobs.At the bingo tournament game, we were so happy to win Japanese liquor Sake and gift certificates.

6月28日(火)に七夕イベントを行いました。学生たちは楽しそうに笹飾りを作ったり、短冊を書いたりしていました。学校の前に飾ったら、近所の子供たちも短冊を書いて飾ってくれました。皆さんの願い事が叶うといいですね！

We held a Tanabata event on Tuesday, June 28.The students happily made bamboo ornaments and wrote strips.When we hung them in front of the school, the neighborhood children also wrote strips and decorated them.I hope your wish comes true!

2022年4月1日に無事に開校を迎え、5月9日に入学式を行いました。記念すべき第１期生。これから一緒に頑張って行きましょう！

The school opened on April 1, 2022, and the entrance ceremony was held on May 9. They are memorable first class of students. Let’s work hard together from now on!
